How to
control your emotions?
Emotions is an important role in the lives of individuals,
it will give a color to the personality, activity, and appearance will affect
the well-being and mental health. In order for the well-being and mental health
is maintained, then the individual needs to do some effort to control emotions.
Below I will explain several ways to control emotions:
1.
Generate a sense of humor.
What is meant here is the sense of humor of pleasure, joy, a
sense of optimism. Someone who has a sense of humor will not be easily
discouraged, he would be able to laugh even when facing difficulties.
2.
Always positive thinking, and put away a negative.
With the advent of always strive for positive emotions,
there is very little likelihood the individual will experience negative
emotions. Even if he appreciate the negative emotions, but cultivated a low
intensity, so it is still a positive value.
3.
Oriented to reality.
Individual life has a starting point and a goal to be
achieved. In order not to be negative, the individual should always proceed
from reality, what one has and can be done, and aimed at achieving something
tangible goals as well.
4.
Reduce and eliminate negative emotions.
If the individual has already faced negative emotions,
immediately sought to reduce and eliminate these emotions. Such efforts can be
made through: understanding what is causing the emotion, the development
patterns of action or emotional response, held outpouring of feelings, and
erosion will be strong emotions.
5. When
your a sense provoked of time, the first thing to do is SHUT.
Do not let your mouth sound even words that are not
frivolous or disrespectful, this is most likely a reflex, but actually still be
in control.
6. Take
a deep breath from your nose.
Hold
it for 10 seconds, then exhaust through the mouth. Why? Because when angry, the
blood flow to the top, but when we take a breath, oxygen into the brain space
that makes us become more relaxed or calm.
